Product Photography

Photograph a single product in its packaging (box, can, etc.) with suitable background, utilizing studio techniques. Modify lighting as necessary to illuminate object and emphasize size, shape and feel of the product and use the product photograph as part of an assignment to product an advertising poster.

Advertising Poster

Using the product photograph, create an advertising poster. Shoot own background image that relates to the product or connects it to a concept.

• Position product to give dimension and emphasis to the name and packaging.
• Establish camera position, frame subject and consider lighting quality.
• Modify lighting angles or direction to allow for all surfaces of the product to be readable and well-illuminated.
